This week we hosted some great guests from the United States on some amazing big game hunts and dorado fishing trips. We stayed at our Posada del Muelle Lodge in Esquina, Corrientes. Our expedition started with a day of big game hunting in the fields near our lodge. We saw large herds of axis deer and blackbuck antelope, taking a great buck from each.
The next day we set out for a full day of golden dorado fly-fishing. The fishing on the Corrientes and Paraná Rivers has been exceptional lately and we landed several dorados each. The last day we hunted water buffalo in the swamps of the Ibera Wetlands. This involved a great deal of stalking and patience. We had some great fortune and with the help of our guides Sergio and Nego we were able to take trophies of each animal.
